Ambulatory Surgery Centers
Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) are sometimes referred to as Outpatient Surgery Centers.
These are surgical facilities where patients can receive minor surgical procedures and testing that does not require an overnight stay in the hospital.
• Costs at such facilities are usually much less than using a hospital for the same procedure.
